About

Ten years on the bridge, now writing the software.

I'm Oktay, a chief mate with ten years of oceangoing service. I filed the noon reports, argued the laytime and chased the certificates. Now I build the software that does it, starting with MarOps, a shipowner back office that is in production today.

Start from the real work

I ran these workflows before I automated them. The first deliverable is an honest map of what happens now, not the version on paper.

AI only where it earns its place

Where a validation rule does the job, I write the rule. AI goes where it removes a decision loop or a re-keying step.

Built to be handed over

Typed, tested, containerised, documented. Taking the system in-house should never be hard.
