Tools

Try them on your own files.

These are not screenshots or a video. They are the same tools from the automation collection, wired up so you can run them right now on your own documents. All four work.

Laytime calculator

GENCON laytime, demurrage and despatch from charter party terms and port events. The same open-source engine that produces MarOps statements, running in your browser; the calculation basis comes back as JSON you can keep beside the statement.

Notice of Readiness generator

Fill in the voyage details and get a properly worded NOR. Validates the IMO check digit and refuses a tender timestamped before arrival — the two mistakes that get challenged in a laytime dispute.

Distance & steaming time

Great-circle distance between waypoints, steaming time at a planned speed, and the bunkers it burns from the cube law cons = k·v³. The same distance and fuel model as the fleet simulation, with a copyable JSON basis.

CII rating quick-check

Estimate a ship's operational CII and its A–E rating from DWT, annual distance and fuel, using the IMO reference lines and rating boundaries. A planning estimate with a copyable JSON basis.

World Port Index finder

Search 3,807 ports from the NGA World Port Index — coordinates, harbour size and type, depths, pilotage, tugs and supplies. The whole dataset loads once and searches on your device.

PDF merger

Combine a folder of PDFs into one document in natural order, so page 10 does not land between 1 and 2. Encrypted files are skipped rather than breaking the merge.

Excel merger

Merge many workbooks into one sheet, with every row stamped with the file it came from and a warning when the columns do not line up.

Per grade, opening + received − consumed against the sounded figure, flagged on a tolerance. The same check MarOps runs against every noon report.

Where your files go

Two of these never leave your machine.

In your browser

The NOR generator, the distance calculator and the charting tool run entirely on your own device. There is no upload and no request — disconnect from the network and they still work.

On my server

PDF and Excel merging need Python, so those files are sent to an API I run. They are processed in memory and never written to disk, nothing is retained after the response, and the service has no route to the internet.

Your account

The tools need a free account: an email link, no password. Usage logging is on by default and keeps what you type into the tools — never the files you upload. Turn it off with one click on any tool page. The same account opens a free MarOps trial fleet.
